With 10 residential and 10 foster care homes available on campus, family style care is offered for up to 125 children. Houseparents, surrogate parents during a child’s placement, offer an experience that is focused on teaching a child to live and relate in a functional Christian family setting. This structured family-like environment offers each child the love, support, discipline, and guidance they need as they learn to develop better interpersonal relationship skills and other basic life skills such as self-discipline, responsibility, and wisdom. 

Spiritual formation often begins in the family setting with Mom and Dad who model what life in Christ looks like and teach them through daily devotions and prayers. Our active family setting enables a child to contribute to the needs of the family while at the same time learning to meet their personal needs. Children practice doing what needs to be done rather than what they want to do, and they learn to anticipate and respond to limits and consequences in their family environment. As their knowledge of better relational skills grow, coupled with knowledge of the truths from God’s word, their ability to make wise decisions is fostered.
