A Community

The bleachers are always filled during a basketball or volleyball game, awards assembly, or special event. It's not just one person, one couple, or family that's going to cheer you on in your journey here. . . it's the whole community!!! And speaking of community, we have our own gas station, fire engine, school, nurse, food store, "goodwill," and craft cabin. Nearly 90% of the folks who "work" here also live here. We have that "Cookson" way of doing things, we refer to being late as being on "Cookson" time, and inappropriate clothing is affectionately referred to as "Cookson illegal."
