FAMILY ACADEMYOne of our newest programs is being offered to parents and families of placed children. These weekend training sessions, called Family Academy, give parents an opportunity to learn the Biblical foundations of parenting. Activities with their children's houseparents and our horses give practical applications of the principles they have learned. Structural family therapy is used to help restore family communication and rebuild family relationships. The horses serve as a catalyst to help participants learn about themselves and others. Involving horses in the counseling process produces experiences and situations for discussion, analysis, and learning.
